Tadoba National Park is Maharashtra’s best wildlife destination, in the Chandrapur district. The national park is spread across a vast area of 1727 sq. km, including both the core and the buffer zones. In order to carry out the safari activities smoothly, the central regions of the Tadoba forest are divided into core zones and the surrounding areas are divided into buffer zones. Being the most popular national park in Maharashtra, Tadoba National Park receives tourist inflow throughout the year. While the core areas of Tadoba remain closed during the monsoon season, the buffer areas like Kolara and Moharli continue with the safari rides, with limited vehicles.

The safari zone is spread across the southern and south-western buffer areas of Tadoba National Park. Tourists can book both jeep and canter safaris in the Moharli Zone. The Erai Dam and Reservoir is located just 7 km from the Devada Adegaon safari gate.
