Tadoba PethZari Safari Gate

Tadoba National Park is a must-visit wildlife destination in Maharashtra. Located in the Chandrapur district, Tadoba is home to various species of flora, fauna and avifauna. Wildlife explorers and photographers find Tadoba National Park an enthralling location. The national park had primarily gained prominence due to the notable count of Bengal tigers. Tiger sighting is the central attraction of the Tadoba wildlife safari. Wildlife enthusiasts need to pre-book online jeep safaris to secure their safari in advance. Cater safari is also available in Tadoba, but it is only limited to Moharli and Kolara zones. Additionally, they are not available for online booking and are not very suitable for photographers. There are multiple safari zones in Tadoba. The core zones are popular for frequent wildlife sightings. However, the buffer zones, too, have significant sightings. Tiger spotting depends completely on the matter of luck, whether tourists choose their safari in a core or a buffer zone. While conducting Tadoba online safari booking, it is crucial to know about the zones and their respective entry gates.

The Peth Zari Safari Gate of Tadoba National Park provides access to the Chandrapur buffer zone. The zone is located on the southern edge of Tadoba National Park. The entry gate is easily accessible from Chandrapur Railway Station. Being a buffer entry gate, Peth Zari remains open during the monsoon season. Primarily, there are 4 major regions in Tadoba National Park - Navegaon, Kolara, Moharli and Pangadi & Zari. The Zari Peth Safari Gate comes under the Pangadi & Zari Zone. Only jeeps are allowed to enter the Path Zari Gate, and visitors are required to present their safari permit and identity proof while entering the gate.

Safari Timing: 6:00 am - 10:00 am | 10:30 am - 1:30 pm | 2:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Advance Booking Procedure:

• The full name, age, sex of each visitor as printed same on the identity cards to be provided along with the confirmatory amount
• Safari timing in (Morning/Afternoon)
• Specific ID card number of your ( Voter Id, Aaadhar No, Driving license No etc)
• Safari Entry fee should be paid in advance
• Should be carrying the same ID card submitted while booking online.
• Please intimate us 45 days prior (for Indian nationals)
• Foreign nationals can ask for booking 90 days in advance
• Passport details are mandatory for making reservation of foreigner tourists
• Safari permit is issued on first come first serve basis (subject to availability)
• In case your safari is not booked due to reasons like technical error or non-availability of seat, we will refund the whole amount in your given bank account. The same would be communicated accordingly.
