India’s one of the most famous national parks is Tadoba National Park, located in the Chandrapur district of Maharashtra. This iconic wildlife location is a dream-destination of wildlife enthusiasts. Visitors get a lot of opportunities to spot a wide array of wild animals in their natural habitat. The tiger population is quite notable in Tadoba, and this is what draws tourists from all across the world. Tadoba National Park has several safari zones categorised under the core and buffer areas. The central part of the national park is the core zone, and the outer areas of the dense forest are the buffer zones. Jeep and canter safaris are conducted and managed by the forest department. Tadoba jeep safaris are available in all zones, whereas the canter safaris are only operational in the Kolara and the Moharli Zones and can be booked offline at the safari ticket booking counter. Tourists planning a wildlife trip to Tadoba National Park must have a clear picture of the safari zones and their entry gates so that they can pre-book their preferred safari zones online.
Among the 16 buffer safari gates, the Palasgaon safari entry gate is in the eastern part of Tadoba National Park and opens to the Palasgaon buffer zone. This buffer zone is spread across a vast area. Therefore, there are 3 other entry gates, other than Palasgaon - Chouradeo, Madnapur and Belara Gate. The Palasgaon entry gate lies close to the Belara Gate and Shirkada Gate of the Shioni buffer zone. Palasgaon Gate only allows jeeps to enter the safari zone. Visitors need to produce their safari permit and a valid identity proof while entering the gate for the jeep safari.
